Tortellini Sausage Soup

I've tried so many yummy recipes in the last little while. It's hard to count them all. I'll post a few of my absolute favorites. I have made this soup three times already, and I don't even like zucchini! It's absolutely delicious. It can be found on one of my new favorite recipe sites called Our Best Bites. Give it a try, you'll be so happy you did.

Carrabba's Filet Bryan is Amazing!

My husband and I first experienced Carrabba's Filet Bryan about a year and a half ago. We were out to dinner with his life coach and his wife who recommended we try the Chicken Bryan topping on the filet. It was to die for! We've been back to Carrabba's couple of times for the Filet Bryan. Last Saturday we decided to try recreating it at home. We used this recipe and replaced the chicken with steak. (It is also very tasty on chicken.) We used chicken stock instead of white wine and also used a little less sundried tomato then it called for. It turned out a tiny bit salty, but we considered it a great success otherwise. Maybe look for goat cheese with less salt or don't season your meat much at all, and definitely don't add any salt to the lemon butter sauce! This dish is definitely not low calorie, but a great one to splurge on every once in a while. We'll definitely be making it again.

I'm Back

After my six month or so blogging hiatus, I'm back. It's been a crazy last several months. My husband switched jobs, we moved, and I had a baby, just to name a few.

My husband loves his new job. It's super busy, and he works ALL THE TIME. Sometimes he doesn't see our daughter all day or even for a couple of days. That is definitely getting hard with a new baby around. He just turned one month old.

We love our new place. It's great to move and clean out your house and have a fresh start. We are loving being closer to the said job's workplace.

We also love our new baby. He is growing so quickly. He's a good eater and sleeper, and his big sister is being the best big sister. She is doing better than we imagined.

I get to start working out next week, and I can hardly wait. Look out post-baby bod, you are in for a ride.

Yay!
