Spring Baby Shower

My friend Alli and I hosted a baby shower a few months ago. The mother-to-be did not know the gender of the baby, so we decided on a simple fresh, spring color scheme of shite and pale green. Alli made the food, and I did the decorations. I picked up some white hydrangeas with light green centers, green ribbon, and coordinating paper and tulle. It came together perfectly, and the event was lovely.

You really do know that you should go into event planning, right? Your decorating sense and planning abilities would make you TOPS in that field!

I LOVE these pictures! I bet the event was ever more beautiful. Tell me about the boxes at the end. What's inside? How did you make them? Do you have another picture?

Thanks, Amanda, I'm not sure how many people in Utah would actually pay for an event planner. I think it would be super fun though.

Lydja, I bought the boxes at Michaels. They are Martha Stewart brand. I have found a bunch of websites with free templates to make boxes similar, so if you are interested, let me know and I'll send you some ideas. I put a key lime white chocolate truffle inside each one. They matched so cute. I found those at See's. I bought the little jewels at a scrapbook store and just stuck them on.
