Artist in the Making

Of course this happened on a day like today. I think I have a budding artist. She did a thorough job. She figured out how to get on our bed. It's pretty high. She climbs up our nightstand and hops onto the bed. Last night I found her on the kitchen table dumping out the salt shaker. Nothing is safe anymore. I think I might go crazy . . .

Anyone know how to get pen off a purse?

Oh no!!! I feel your pain... the only safe place for my baby is in her crib and I'm afraid if she is in there very long after she wakes up she will figure out how to escape!

I wish I knew how to get pen off of your purse. Your pics are priceless though!:-)

I think the pen on the purse is divine. Second only to the pen on bellybutton. Think of it as an original work of art, and you're good to go!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. So good of you! Happy week!

Time for the next level of baby-proofing, huh? Oh that joyful phase! I like the nail polish remover idea. You can also try hairspray...and maybe windex...or just google "clean pen off leather" and see what comes up. I used toothpaste to get permanent marker off my linoleum, so maybe that could even work? At least babies wash in the tub. :)

OH NO! How funny! Nope, nothing is safe.

hairspray gets pen off. I used to get pen on stuff in high school and that is what I used.

Oh I haven't had pen on a purse. I have permanent marker down my hall walls though. Hopefully hairspray works. I know it works on clothes with ink.

Oh, NO! Princess Nagger went through that phase, too - pen, sharpie, crayons...decorated all the walls, doors and even the toilet seat cover! :) Never on us, though she decorated herself... ;) The thing I found that works best is Mr. Clean Magic Eraser - the kind with the blue side. It really works miracles! ;) Loved the pictures! :)

Try Goo Gone. It seems to take everything off of... everything.

Failing that, you could try adding to the design to make it look AWESOME.

Try hand sanitizer gel.

Oh no! Little stinker. Mine did that once too... only to my couch. We did get it off though. Can't remember how. YOu might try the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for the purse, but I wouldn't suggest using it on the baby. LOL!

Did you try hairspray?

One day my three year old daughter decided to be artistic. She got lipstick and baby-smelling Vaseline. They were rubbed into the carpet.

Ever tried to clean petroleum jelly out of a carpet? Good times!
