Marné's room finally has its lamp back! It's been missing for months while I've been adding the pearls. I had quite the setback when I couldn't get the rest of the beads I needed to finish it for a few months. I'm happy to say it's finally done! Hooray!

What a dilemma . . .
. . . when your husband goes to Costco and comes home with a HUGE box of oreo cookies. We're talking 140 of these babies! And you stay at home all day with the babes trying to eat fruit and veggies and other healthy food instead of junk. The box is too big to fit in your average size cupboard, and it stares at you from its perch on top of the microwave every time you walk by. After staring at the box for a few weeks, I finally decided to make these awesome cookies from the amazing creator over at Picky Palate while my husband was at a super late church meeting. Using cookies to make more cookies seems to defeat the purpose twice. One word . . . DELICIOUS!

My New Adventure!
I often look for things that I cannot find. I come up with this perfect picture in my head of exactly what I want and then venture off to find it. I usually come home empty handed. I'm not sure why I think up things I can never find. I think I get it from my mom. She always thinks up the greatest ideas, and we are very much alike. After some encouragement from my husband, I decided to start making things that I love and have a hard time finding. My favorite item - hat boxes! I adore hat boxes. They are so cute and classic and fun. They are great for storage, too. I have a set in my daughter's room that I made out of leftover fabric from her bedding. I keep her bracelets and bows in them, and they look darling sitting on her bookshelf. I decided to give each set a name to make them more personal. I love how they are each so different.
I look forward to creating and naming future sets!
Big Thank You!
